Our Day Camp Staff are dedicated to ensuring your campers have a memorable and enjoyable experience while at camp!

Day Camp Volunteer's Creed

I am a volunteer interested in Girl Scouting and camping.

I will provide programming in which girls will develop critical thinking.

I will provide a positive example.

I know my event will have a positive impact on a girl's life.

I will provide opportunities for girls to develop team building skills.

I share what I have with everyone.

I am impartial.

I will incorporate diversity into the event.

I will encourage leaders to let girls lead their activities.

Available Volunteer Positions

When you register for Day Camp you will be asked to state your preferred position, so be sure to read through our camp position descriptions below. All volunteers and staff must be registered for Day Camp. There is no charge for adult registration.

Bus Monitors

Each bus will need a lead volunteer to ensure the safety of campers. You will be in charge of ensure the campers follow rules, keeping track of who is on your bus, and handling emergencies if they arise.

Note: monitors must be 18 years or older and carry a cell phone where they can be reached on the bus in case of an emergency.

Floating Volunteers

Day Camp is always looking for people to help where help is needed. There are so many moving parts that you may find yourself filling water stations, running to the store, or jumping in to help with a program. Floating volunteers help fill the gaps each day.

Adult Unit Helpers

Unit helpers are in charge of helping campers at their activities, keeping the unit's schedule, and ensuring the safety of their unit.
